We’re rolling out a Patch for Play N Trade to enter version 2.0

New Features

• Movies Return! – Physical media buffs, rejoice.
• Backroom Testing Center – Faster trades & better product quality.
• Bagging and Tagging! - We are now bagging all of our games in resealable poly bags with condition stickers in the back. Pricing will be based more off condition than before (so it may vary more at times) BUT the customers will have a much more informed purchase.
• Store Credit Expansion – Can now be used on repairs AND Pokémon cards.
• New website - Playntradenc.com is our new website! Potential to see inventory online will roll out in the near future!
• New Phone Who dis? - New phone number AND the ability to text the store! We can text you when you repairs are done, your trade quotes are ready, etc!
  
  Balance Changes
  
• Membership Price increased from $10 → $25.
• All existing punch cards & memberships are still honored.

- Military, Veterans, and first responders will receive a membership FOR LIFE with valid ID as a thank you for your service.

• Still 10% extra on trades and 10% off on used games and accessories, however new perks are coming as well such as the bounty system... but they're not quite ready to be announced yet
• Retro Price Overhaul – Old-gen prices lowered and now based on PriceCharting instead of GameStop values.
• Apparel Clearance – All old clothing and apparel are now 50% off. We're looking into getting better quality items to bring in!
• Mini Pokémon & Stickers – Price nerfed from $2 → $0.25.
• Repair Turnaround Buff – Faster service without sacrificing quality. Still have a lot more to catch up on
• Return Policy change - Store was previously 2 days full money back on used, 30 days store credit. Now we are doing 7 days full money back on anything used, 14 days store credit. 30 days on used consoles or a free repair.
• NPC Billy promoted from Assistant Manager to Final Boss
• NPC Mike promoted from Shopkeeper to Assistant Manager
  
  Bug Fixes
  
• Fixed an issue where prices weren’t making sense (looking at you, $2 stickers).
• No longer stickering items like Gamestop, because everyone hates that.
• Better pictures for email, Discord, and all the other socials! So you can actually see what’s in store as soon as it hits our shelves!
  
  Ongoing fixes
  
• Store Rearrange – Ongoing. Expect shifting shelves and possible minor confusion as we finalize the new layout.
• Massive Product Influx – We’re still unboxing & tagging; some treasures remain hidden… for now.
• New Product Types – Rolling out gradually.
• Better Figures – Still in development.
• Tournaments & Events – Coming in a future update.
• “Wishlist” will be replaced by our new BOUNTY SYSTEM– Not yet implemented. See the website for more details
